Description

Native to the Eastern U.S., this plant produces an upright clumping form, usually growing in low, moist areas although adaptable to dry clay soils. Fluffy, deep purple, pollinator attracting flower heads appear in summer. Usually grows to around 2-4 ft. tall. Full to part sun.
