Then…
Founded in 1991 in Collinsville, IL, our store consisted of one small building and three small greenhouses. Initially, we opened our doors as a Christmas tree lot with just a few employees. After that first Christmas tree season, we began building additional greenhouses and expanding into a small retail garden center.

Over the past 29 years, our garden center has expanded to become one of the leading plant retailers in the St. Louis Metro East. Now with almost 20 greenhouses, we are able to grow the majority of all of our own plants. By growing our own plants, we can provide a substantial and diverse selection of outdoor plants including hundreds of varieties and unique combinations of annuals, perennials, and more.

Our Process
Starting in January, we begin filling pots and hanging baskets with potting soil. By February, we are starting to plant everything from cuttings, many of which are patented varieties. In March, we continue planting our smaller pots. By April and May, after over 3 months of gentle loving care, our plants are ready for their new homes.

Our Commitment
By growing almost everything in house, we are able to offer hundreds of varieties of annuals, perennials, and more. Our large, vibrant hanging baskets are a huge source of pride, and bring in customers from all over the area. We love sharing our passion for plants, and take pride in aiming to provide the highest quality and selection of plants.
