All vegetables are grown in organic soils using organic fertilizer and pesticides if needed.

For tomatoes, we carry the tried and true varieties such as Big Boy Tomato and Better Boy Tomato, and a large heirloom selection including Black Krim Tomato and Beefsteak Tomato.

For peppers, we carry numerous varieties of bell peppers, banana peppers, and hot peppers, and harder to find organic heirloom varieties including Ausilio Thin Skin Italian and Greek Pepperoncini. We also carry extremely hot peppers such as the Ghost pepper and the Carolina Reaper (world’s hottest pepper!).

In addition to our large tomato and pepper selection, we also carry a large selection of zucchini, cucumbers, squash, etc. including harder to find organic heirloom varieties.

Tomatoes Growth Habit

Indeterminate

• Plants continue to grow and vine all season.
• Staking is recommended.
• Blossoms and fruit develop progressively.
• Harvest lasts for several months.

Determinate

• Plants are bush type and self-topping.
• Rarely need staking.
• Caging is helpful.
• Blossoms and fruit develop on the plant at the same time.
• Harvest time is usually within a 2 – 3 week window.
